Any Thrivent Users?

Hey ya'll,

I was just wondering if any of ya'll used Thrivent for checking, savings, IRAs etc. How does it work with not having any Thrivent banks and stuff. I am thinking about using it for a long term saving account.

All of our life insurance is with Thrivent. I don't know about their banking....

On a more philosophical level...I have been disappointed lately with the direction Thrivent is going. We used to do projects that helped people in need, that brought the message of the Gospel with that help. This past spring our local Thrivent group planted trees in a park??? :scratch: No people helped, no Gospel message proclaimed anywhere. :( I am seeing a lot more social gospel emphasis.

My family uses Thrivent as well.. however I am not the one who pays the bills so I really don't know a thing about it. ;)

Thrivent offers bank cards, credit cards, etc...and as far as depositing money etc, you would need direct deposit, or mail your checks/paychecks in, I suppose.

I'm like most of the others who posted. Life insurance. And made an investment with their help for my 401k from a previous job.

Might want to look at some of the member's benefits too.
