New Feature: ICQ, MSN, AIM and Yahoo Online Status

I've added a feature so that if a member enters their ICQ, MSN, AIM and/ or Yahoo details in their profile, their online status for each of these IM services who up in their posts under their username. :)

I agree. The Yahoo icon is showing me as offline while I'm logged in, and "Your Da' Coolest!" (I just hope that means something good! :D)

It's the reverse with someone's icon: the person is offline, but the icon (be it Yahoo, MSN, AIM or ICQ) shows that it's available for chatting. No names, but it's something I've noticed... just hope the reverse isn't as buggy as the one mentioned in the quote. Other than that, keep up the good work, Erwin! :thumbsup:

The Yahoo one doesn't work for me either, but I'm pretty sure I saw it working for someone earlier.. Hum... weird.

And the MSN one doesn't seem to work for me either...lol. It always says "?"

However, I like the new feature. :)

EDIT: This might be a stupid question but: You(the persons that don't see online status) do realise, that you must have ICQ(or yahoo etc.) turned on(the actual client) to be able to see this status? It is not enough to be only online without a client turned on(at least not for me).

I just checked this and it works ok.

ok, my msn icon is a flashing question mark, and my yahoo and aim show me as offline when i am logged in via trillian. if the flashing/color version is online, that is - mine are just grey.

ok, i abandoned trillion in favor of using each IM on their own...

i figured out the yahoo issue, but the AIM i am cluless as to why it still shows me as "offline" when i am logged into AIM??? any ideas why?

I think I muddled my answer a bit. What I mean is my "main" identity with yahoo is psalm_127. However, I am allowed to go in and create new identities under that username. The one I am currently logged into is Liberty_America_Pageants and this is also the one in my CF profile, yet I am not shown as online. I was wondering if I had to be logged in under my psalm_127 ident. as it is the "main" one in addition to having that one in the profile.

Make sense? Doggone yahoo anyway. ;)
