    salvation of non believers?

Hi everyone - Just curious as to whether there is a consenses in the Salvation Army about the salvation of non-christians. I read a statement from William Booth that was very hopeful in terms of the salvation of those who, through no fault of their own, have ever heard the name of Jesus - it was...

    RCC teaching on Salvation

I also think its important to note that Catholics believe God wills everyone to be saved - He loves and wants each and every one of us - and offers us the grace to choose Him - those excluded from His kingdom are those who knowingly reject his Love and forgiveness.

    Is scripture the highest authority?

"Timothy" claims that the church is the pillar and foundation of the truth. We Roman Catholics believe our Church has authority therefore to interpret scripture. We also believe scripture is sacred and we stand in Church when the Gospels are read - our reverence for the "word" is total. Almost...

    Rosie O'Donnell's child is missing

I stand by my point - to call someone an "obnoxious slob" on a Catholic forum goes against everything we are meant to be and stand for as Christians. Im really surprised the moderators don't step in. Charity is a keystone of the Catholic faith. Even if you dont like someone, and dont respect...

To the poster who called Rosie O'Donell an obnoxious snob...really??? On Catholic forum???? Is that charitable or necessary for any reason? Please re thing your approach to this forum. You can disagree with someone like Rosie without going on a Catholic forum and calling unkind names...
