1 Corinthians 11:30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.
We also see this word many in Matthew 7:22.

22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’…

I do know many people who teach lawlessness. The law was given for our own protection and our own protection. David talks about his love for he Law of God in Psalm 139. I was amazed when I first read that Psalm.

I obey the law. I don't understand this post

Paul had infirmities and not healing
Paul had infirmities (weaknesses) he was not sick

Read 2 Cor 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ?—I speak as a fool—
I am more: in labors more abundant,
in stripes above measure,
in prisons more frequently,
in deaths often.
24 From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one
. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods
; once I was stoned;
three times I was shipwrecked;
a night and a day I have been in the deep
; 26 in journeys often,
in perils of waters,
in perils of robbers
, in perils of my own countrymen,
in perils of the Gentiles,
in perils in the city
, in perils in the wilderness,
in perils in the sea,
in perils among false brethren;
27 in weariness and toil,
in sleeplessness often,
in hunger and thirst
, in fastings often
, in cold and nakedness
28 besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches.

29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation?

30 If I must boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity.

Look at the list of his infirmities very plainly listed there and name one that was a sickness.

Weakness is not infirmities. You forget that Paul told Timothy to drink wine for his infirmities. And Romans 8 says that we will have pestilence.

Why do you feel the need to tear down sick peoples faith? You may as well say they have no faith like you. You are strong! We are weak.

There is an attitude that the person in need has to have faith. It is the person doing the praying that needs faith. There are a lot of people in the bible that interceded for others. A mother, father, employer, even the friends that cut a hole in the roof.

OK but spiritual blindness is an epidemic.

Why does quoting scripture bother you so much?

Paul told Timothy to drink a little wine for his stomach ache. It doesn’t say it didn’t work

Paul by his own description was not sick. What does that bother you?

If you feel closer to God by living in rags and being sick - run with it.

The Scripture said the wine was for his stomach and his often infirmities.

Should a man pray for forgiveness because he has PTSD, depression, psychosis, or other infirmities? The apostles were out of their own minds sometimes according to Paul.

Quoting scripture doesn't bother. Romans 8 doesn't promise healing but promises pestilence, demons, famine and death. Paul died daily. We are sheep led to the slaughter

Well - let's look at that shall we -

1 Tim 5:23 No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities.
Paul is saying quite clearly that Timothy had frequent stomach problems and the answer to the infirmities was to stop drinking the water. He mentions no other sickness than his tummy aches - and he gave him the cure for them.

Should a man pray for forgiveness because he has PTSD, depression, psychosis, or other infirmities?
Is the person in sin? That is the only reason I know for praying for forgiveness.

Since you brought up PTSD etc - Let me give an example -

I served in the military in the 80's, not exactly an action packed time - but I was part of a team that were involved in a brief confrontation that resulted in two injuries and one death. My friend was the shooter - ROE was followed to the letter and he did nothing wrong. He suffered for years with PTSD, depression etc over taking a life. For more than 22 years he was on meds and under a doctors care - then he came to Christ.

He asked God to forgive him for killing the man and God set him free instantly. He has not taken a pill, nor suffered from it since.
The apostles were out of their own minds sometimes according to Paul.
Quote the verse in context please - and thank you.

Which verse in Romans 8?

This one?
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

or this one?

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Paul died daily. [\Quote]

You believe Paul died physically 365 days a week for more than 30 years?

Your assertion about Timothy's illness is not found in scripture. You either made it up or some other person did .

You keep repeating that over and over - with no explanation -

Please explain what dying daily means to you. Are you saying he dies physically from illness every day?

It means not being healed physically but spiritually instead. The gospel isn't health and wealth. It's a lamb led off to slaughter daily. Romans 8

I don't know for sure what Paul lived with and endured but I die a lot myself in my own way. I must endure this by faith not sight. There is no book other than the Bible that teaches us how to be a lamb led off to slaughter
