People in pagan churches, cast out demons like that verse says, because they also prophetized and had gifts, idk, So. You don't need that only verse, Paul told the churches to seek the best gifts, one gift is discernment, which obviously is used to cast out demons.

It's not for the nation of israel, they were doing those things with the 'pagans' in the non jewish churches.
