Wow, this is awesome, and kinda freaky. Never knew that koalas growled, and never knew that the koala growl was sampled for the Jurassic Park movie. We learn something every day.To tourists unfamiliar with koalas they can make terrifying sounds.
As a fun fact in the film Jurassic Park koala sounds were used for the T-Rex.
