This was a post I made. I would like to ask everyone this question and get their opinion of my understanding.

Do we ever talk about Jobs family and friend's?
Sometimes, yes.
Job's friends were fine when they were sitting beside him in silence, Job 2:11-13. It was when they opened their mouths and gave their opinions that the problems started.
Why do we crush him into dust with our judgment?
I don't think we do.
If your best friend gets sick and his family dies will you say it's because your friend sinned?
No.

Yes, God healed Job as soon as he repented.
What did Job have to repent of?

If you are linking sickness with sin, that would imply that Job became ill and lost everything because he sinned. Yet we know from chapter 1 that all this suffering was inflicted by the devil, who wanted to show God that Job would no longer believe if he endured suffering. He failed in that. Job refused to "curse God and die".

What did Job have to repent of?

Who better to ask than Job - we have his words right here:

Job 42:1“I know that You can do everything,
And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.
3 You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
4 Listen, please, and let me speak;
You said, ‘I will question you, and you shall answer Me.’5 “I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear,
But now my eye sees You.
6 Therefore I abhor myself,
And repent in dust and ashes.”

He said sorry to God because he believed that he was wrong to question him. But that's not a sin, and his suffering was not because he had done wrong.
The Psalms are full of complaints to God and people pouring out their feelings.
Psalm 10:1 "why, Lord, do you hide yourself?"
Psalm 43:2 "you are God - why have you rejected me?"
Psalm 88:14, "why, Lord, do you reject me?"

They were fat like 1 Corinthians 4. I love Job.
OK - here is 1 Cor 4 -

1 Cor 4 Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. 5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.
6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be [c]puffed up on behalf of one against the other. 7 For who [d]makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?
8 You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you! 9 For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. 10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored! 11 To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless. 12 And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; 13 being defamed, we entreat. We have been made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things until now.
14 I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you. 15 For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16 Therefore I urge you, imitate me. 17 For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.
18 Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you. 19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. 20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. 21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
Can you point to the verse where someone is called - fat

Repentance is more than saying I am sorry - what did Job repent of?

I merely stated that AFTER Job repented - God healed him, restored him and then made him very wealthy.

God might have done that anyway.
Don't forget, the whole thing was a wager between God and the devil. The devil believed Job would cease to believe in God/curse him if he had suffering in his life. He lost. job questioned, but refused to "curse God and die."

I'll stay with what is clearly quoted in scripture.

Job repented - then God healed him and made him very wealthy.

In your opinion
No, in Paul's opinion. He wrote it and does not mention Job anywhere, far less, his friends.

By the way "puffed up" means "puffed up with pride" - not fat.

Fat means well fed.
No it doesn't; it means overweight. Someone who's been eating too much.
And there is no evidence that that was true of Job's friends. God reprimanded them for their words; not their weight.

It IS silly.
We were talking about Job's friends and you suddenly said "they were fat, like 1 Corinthians 4". Not only does that not make sense, it is not in Scripture and not relevant.
