The scripture isn't being contextually grasped, which happens to all of us. It's okay. But, it is not being understood.
I posted it in context. It’s very clear what happened. But you say no.

Why isn't there an "Are you messing with me" emoji?

God did not DO that. Satan has chosen Iniquity of his own Libertarian Volition, apart from God's WILL... which God Gave to all of His creations to abuse or appreciate.

Satan does not reveal God's character in any way! God did not desire evil, He does not do evil, He is not guilty of Evil. God is our Spotless Lamb.

The Son reveals the Father, per the Son's words. Satan has no thing to do with God.

I know you think my image of God is Weak and unjust. May I explain why my opinion of what Scripture reveals makes Him stronger than a Micromanager?

Okay, I'm going to tread lightly... Some "Theology" attempts to build from a FATHER perspective. However, We, by God's design, have Been Revealed the Father, through the Son. The Son declares that to see Him is to see the Father. John protects the TriUne Model, by saying that Only the Son has seen the Father.

This means... when theology is built from Gen - Rev apart from the Son's revelation of God... it is not going to see things the way God intended. God wants us to see Him as Directly Relational to us, per the Revelation of the Incarnation.

John 5:39

To add to the idea of theology (In reference to God, directly), beyond the Son's workings in the Gospels, is to accidently miss the exact way that God wants us to Understand Him. This is the best way that I can delicately say this.

The Hebrew word for translated to "Hate" is "Sane". It does not man what the Greek word Hate, means. It is by Hebrew root, about a Thorn or Seed. It refers to how Fences were protected by Thorn bushes and vines to protect Live Stock. This is also the origin of the term (Kicking against the goads, pricks or thorns).

It means to recoil from inflicted pain.

The Old testament has revelations of Satan's Actions being pinned onto God. Job is one of them. It gets deeper. While Satan is attacking Job, fire comes down from the sky, and the SERVANTS think it is from God.

The Census is another place.

Satan was on a campaign to Mar God's character. To ignore the context of Satan having authority, in the old testament, is a very common error that MANY theologians make. God didn't PLACE Satan in the Garden to do what Satan did. Ezekiel reveals that Satan was an Appointed Guardian Angel, by God.

If you don't take the complete Revelation of Jesus Christ into the Old Testament, and pick up all the crumbs that the Apostles, Prophets and Jesus give about Satan, you will miss it.

The Pharisees acted as God and most definitely Misrepresented God. Of all things a Theologian must succeed in, of all things, a theologian must infuse every action of God with the Revelation of Jesus Christ. God's Love and Mercy are exactly what Exalted Jesus on the Cross. It was LOVE that constrained Christ. This is Spiritually revealed by reading the Gospels, then the Apostles. They do reveal it! I Love Jesus, like you do. My thing was looking for His Character from Gen - Rev. I still reread scripture to do it. Cover to Cover, because I miss the Physical Presence of Jesus! I want to hug Him and say thankyou! I want to kneel before Him and tell Him that He is Worthy of All Praise.

All Love in Jesus Christ to you, Hammster.

It’s so clear that God used Satan to test Job that virtually all theologians, regardless of their bent, agree. Wesley and Gill and Henry and Barnes and Clarke all agree.

You do see that they weren’t all proverbs, right?

God is being kind and leaving them to their sinful choices.
Actually the passage you quoted from Jeremiah is also a proverbial passage.

What does Paul mean when he says “the kindness of God leads you to repentance”?

“Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?”

I think God’s kindness leads people to repentance. But as we see in the following verses, their hard heart causes them to store up wrath.

Since you chose not to answer a question I didn’t ask, I’ll see if I can figure it out. You would say no, God could intervene, but won’t. Is that correct?
God will allow humans the freedom to think their own thoughts, but these free will thoughts themselves can be sin. God can certainly take the life away from them and they can stop sinning that way.

Still not answering the question. But nobody has yet, so you’re in good company. :)

Yes or no (and then you can add an explanation). Can (does He have the ability and authority) God intervene to stop any evil act at any given time?

God can stop any actions, but will not stop our evil thoughts (that is who we are).
I keep asking about how you are defining "acts", since that determines the answer. If we are held accountable than God is not intervening in those thoughts. We can be set up to make a mental choice to do or not do some evil. Allowing humans to make these free will choices allows us to fulfill our earthly objective. God allows us to make these choices.

God can stop any actions,
Thank you.
but will not stop our evil thoughts (that is who we are).
So no sanctification?

Sinful acts. Things we do that are sinful.
If we are held accountable than God is not intervening in those thoughts.
But He can.

You mean God’s objectives.
God allows us to make these choices.
But He can intervene.

A "test" for who's benefit?
Job is blameless at the time, but put God will help him to be even better, but I would call it a learning experience and not a test.

It says because of their stubbornness and their unrepentant heart that they are storing up for themselves God’s wrath. So if God is leading them to repentance why are they still refusing to repent?

It doesn’t say that He leads them to repentance.
