It is only disproved in the mind of a person who fully believes what other people of science claim to be true.

Which i do not.
The spherical Earth made much more sense than the flat earth even to Greeks 2,000 years ago, because of simple, but careful contemplating and observation.

Science, originating (more or less) in the 17th century only confirmed it in multiple new ways, through more developed maths, physics and technology.

Well that is not what you said in your post, to a post i made.

That's right.

It doesn't shine in all directions. Ever heard of the dark side of the moon? (someone even made an album about it). It's in darkness. I mean, the clue is in the name. The side you can see is in sunlight. The light we get from the moon is reflected sunlight.
Yeah, shine a light on a ball and one side is in light (the light side) and the other side is in darkness (the dark side). As the moon orbits the earth sometimes the sun shines on the side we can see, sometimes on the side we can't. If it's shining mostly on tne side we can't we'll only be able to see a small amount of the light. Which shows as a crescent.

Didn't you read the link I gave you? It's written for children so should be easy to understand.

I understand what science claims. I was replying to a post by the poster (Bradskii) who stated the moon does not rotate and there is a dark side of the moon.
It rotates, or orbits, around the earth. But one side is always pointing towards us. The side that's facing the sun is always in sunlight. The opposite side is in darkness.

Like i say anytime you want to meet in a field, pasture, lake, park and want to prove your science beliefs (evolution, globe earth, sphere moon, existence of planets, outer space, etc...) i will be ready to listen.

Sure. I'll fly to L.A. via Santiago and show you the route. Then we'll stand in a field and you can disprove evolution by...well, I have no idea what we'll be doing in the middle of a field. Taking yet more pictures of the moon I suppose. But bring a marble, a tennis ball and a torch. I need to show you something.

Why do you need to bring your toys. I thought science was built on observation. Do you not have two working eyes, that should be all you need.

So atoms, cells, bacteria or viruses do not exist. Neither radio waves. Also, you dont exist, because I never saw you.

I am addressing God's creation the earth, sun, moon, stars a creation that is seen by our eyes.

I see how science playes the game, when you can not have an answer to a point made. You change the topic to go toward another direction.

All your questions were answered and all your arguments were smashed and destroyed completely. Many times.

Yet you refuse to believe the born again Christians who landed on the moon 50 years ago.

More like lying Freemasons who didn't land on the moon.

You'll be believing David Icke & his shape shifting lizards next.

I have had my fill of back and forths especially with christian (like you) who throw The Bible under the bus because of science liars. So if you want to believe in science's creation account go ahead be my guess.

And I have @d taylor , I've just left two threads b/c of this, I was hoping this one maybe different.

You ran away from the threads because you couldn't / wouldn't answer the questions.

I strongly suggest you that post your nonsense about a flat earth in areas of the forum which are restricted to those who are Christian. You can then be sure of a genuine Christian response.

Have you worked out what's blocking your view of the Southern Cross yet?

Slander is contrary to God's word. You are engaging in exactly that. What are your qualifications to make such a judgement? Are you an astronomer? Pilot? Scientist? You believe that millions of people involved in the various space programs are liars? People from India, China, Russia, Europe, Australia? Even America. I wish you could see how absurd your false accusations are. I won't say more. The mods on this forum are easily offended.

I don't know who David Icke is and I've never heard of shape shifting lizards. Sounds as unbelievable as flat earth postulations.

Hint: It's very big and kinda spherical (an oblate spheroid to be exact). And you're either up very late indeed or you are a really early riser. I just checked the the time in Swansea as I need to call my brother to wish him happy birthday. But anyway, you can't see the sun yet, but I can. For the very same reason.
